  18. One way to check if it's OS or not would be to run NetBSD (or Linux).
  19. Actually I think it would be enough to just get loadbsd and generic
  20. kernel (NetBSD) and boot it.  If it crashes, the problem is with
  21. hardware. At least I think that in normal situation it should start
  22. complaining about missing root filesystem etc. but not shouldn't crash.

  24. But I must say that I'm not sure where the kernel is loaded so you
  25. might not gain anything (if it happens to go to the area which
  26. works with AmigaOS, too).  Of course you could install the whole
  27. system but it means more work...
